I am not claiming every salesman is like that, but the one I met in Burton Upon Trent after virgin media fibre to the home installation was complete in my street, did try to persuade me to buy Virgin Media Package which once I looked on virgin media website wasn’t exactly what he explained. where he promised something and when I checked details of the same package it turned out something else…
He tried selling us: Big bundle + Drama Pick, Upon asking multiple times if cost remains the same after completion of one year he insisted there will be no change but on virgin media website you can see it clearly says ”£38 a month for 12 months then £69 a month. 12-month contract. £35 set up fee.” Besides that, he also claimed the package will include 300 international minutes and free calls anywhere anytime. Something not to be seen anywhere on Virgin Media Website.
Is this Virgin Media’s fault?
Not Really, Network and speed-wise Virgin Media has the best infrastructure available in Burton and they are expanding their network rapidly… Taking advantage of this opportunity are a few greedy salesmen who are trying to mislead their customers into buying the packages of their choice.
